Project YZ125G For Sale
ByAs much as it pains me to do so, I must sell my bike.
In this site you have read all about what has gone into this awesome machine. What has changed since the bike was completed?
It has been raced a total of three times. The bike is very fast, handles great and still looks awesome. See the photos below.
The only issue is that the tank stickers are curling on the edges, otherwise it looks EXACTLY like it does in the photos below.
Now for the price…. if you have read this site you know that I have invested over $5,000 in parts to build this bike, that does not take into account all of the countless hours of labor. But I need to sell the bike.
Here’s the deal. I will sell this bike to the first person that makes a REASONABLE offer for it. Please do not send any low ball offers. I will accept a reasonable price for the bike but will not give it away. I have a price in mind, meet that and the bike is yours.
The purchaser of the bike will have to pay for all shipping to their location. Although I will deliver the bike to any place within 60 miles of my home (Poughkeepsie, NY) at no charge.
Paypal or Cash only. No Trades.
Please send your offer or additional questions to johnnicholas@hvc.rr.com
Thank you.
The stand in the photo will be included with the bike.
This web site will remain up at as a resource for the vintage restoration community.

I’m interested in a DG silencer for a 1980. But I’m not up for waiting so I’ll probably do as you did.
Do you know if the 84 would bolt up to a stock pipe?

Craig, The 1984 DG Silencer should bolt right on. You’ll need the hardware from the 1984 to make it all work correctly.
Good Luck!
